Join the public “Vigil for Earth” every Monday noon in OKC, by our enormous VIGIL for EARTH signs: (actual time: 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM)

LOCATION: We gather on the west side of Pennsylvania Ave., across the street from Penn Square Mall, on the grassy lawn by the Verizon Store.

WHAT WE DO: We sing, share readings & personal testimony, wave to traffic, and receive the “Take-Away” of the week, with an Action we can take.

PARKING: Help keep Verizon’s lot free by parking to the west in the Talbots’ lot (or on the north side of Verizon.)

Booths and tables of some 50 organizations working in social justice, human service and environmental sustainability display information and sell books, calendars and crafts. 

Select vendors offer fair trade and home-made items for sale, making the Peace Festival a holiday shopping opportunity for good causes.

Annual Peace Festival Starts 4th Decade Nov. 12

Oklahoma City’s 30th annual Peace Festival will be held Saturday, Nov. 12th, from 10 am to 4 pm, in the Civic Center Music Hall’s “Hall of Mirrors” in downtown in Oklahoma City, 201 N. Walker.  The event is free and open to the public.

The event is an central Oklahoma tradition, with music, dancing, food, shopping and community organizing for peace and justice always on the program.

More than 60 organizations will be represented. Visitors will find items for sale from three continents, and tables reflecting the face of human service and social justice groups in central Oklahoma.
